The group of companies
The Steinmeyer group combines the three competence centers drive technology, positioning technology and precision metrology and has worldwide more than 610 employees. As an owner-managed company group Steinmeyer stand for very precisely manufactured products for demanding applications. All three companies manufacture their products in Germany: the August Steinmeyer GmbH & Co. KG in Albstadt, the Steinmeyer Mechatronics GmbH in Dresden and the Feinmess Suhl GmbH in Suhl.

Founded over 140 years of ago, we have more than 100 employees in Dresden as an owner-managed company. On a production area of more than 35,000 ft² we manufacture our sub-micron positioning systems for the most demanding requirements – from prototyping to volume production.
